Steps towards a stronger local economy
The Valley County Economic Development Council has outlined steps to define strategies and actions to contribute to a stronger regional economy. June 20 (1-6:30PM – McCall, Shore Lodge): The Recreation Summit is an event for local chambers, businesses, organizations and elected officials to explore the significance of recreation and tourism for the local economy [details & registration]. This event is a collaborative effort of the McCall Area Chamber, the Winter Recreation Committee and the Economic Development Council. | |

June 26 (starting at 1:00PM – McCall, Legion Hall): the standing June council meeting will be dedicated to formulating an action plan; since the June 21 workshop will be the starting point for this meeting, interested participants should consider signing up for the June 21 workshop as well [registration]. |
