Valley County Posts Best Lodging Sales on Record

One of the many ways our community is able to track how the recreation tourism industry is faring in Valley County is through the State Bed Tax reports. The State of Idaho began reporting these numbers in 1993 and each county uses this as a barometer to track how many visitors are coming to an area.

In 2013, Valley County hit a major milestone by earning more lodging sales tax than any other year on record. This is a great indication of our economy growing.
